A few things to discuss
Nancy dis-Grace
I can’t tell you how much I hate Nancy Grace - from her righteousness to her focus on pretty, white, blonde victims, she is just awful.
This week she’s gone too far in injecting herself into an open investigation, spurring the suicide of a main subject, and then denying that [...]
Thanks to the Independent Media Center of Philadelphia for pointing this one out. I’ve talked about the Geno’s policy where they will not serve customers that don’t order english. Well someone decided to test that theory out and videotaped it. Apparently you’re told to “set the bets” and then the police are called. So they’re [...]
Forbes has a list of the best driving roads in America. I figured this list would feature mostly roads out west with their long scenic drives by the Pacific or through the desert. I figured no way the east gets mentioned because of all the congestion found here. Little did I expect the [...]
I’ve been spreading my wings and writing a little for a blog called Philly Future (spencer’s blog). A Philadelphia blog that allows multiple users to post to it and speak to the local community.
Most of the posts I’ve done there, were also posted here, but the last one - Last Week In Philly - [...]
Let me start this by saying I’m probably a little jealous.

Of the 5 games, all but tonight’s second [...]

The season has been horrible. They are 11.5 games behind the Mets. The manager is on the hotseat as are two thirds of the outfield and every pitcher not named Tom Gordon. Their “best” pitcher was arrested for beating his wife in [...]
Billy Wagner says that the Phillies have “as much talent talent as [the Mets]“. That “there is something lacking there”. That the team needs to be broken up. The funny thing is that the papers disregard him. The Phillies laugh it off. You may not like some of the things that [...]
Get your minds out of the gutter. It’s been raining cats and dogs here for the last few weeks. I took a few pics walking around Conshohocken a couple of days ago. Here are some I liked.

Ostensibly A Rubber Door is about anything that's on my mind. Mostly that seems to be about politics, music, sports, and arguing with others about all of the above. I took the name of this blog from a Michael Penn song called Me Around. Check out Michael - he's about the best singer/songwriter there is.
