I’ve been neglecting this blog, but it’s not dead. I can’t bring myself to put it down, and why should I have to?
I’ve created a different type of creative outlet with three friends. Instead of writing for scenewords.com, I’m taking photos. Every week my partners and I are releasing at least one photo paired with one haiku.
So far we’ve been sticking to Mondays. Please come by and share you comments.
The chick spent all day perched as if it was going to fly away. It was the last of three chicks, it’s siblings having flown away the previous day. It’s parents were near by encouraging it by chirping, but it never left until the next day.
What better place to celebrate our 1st anniversary than in the place where we got engaged. The weather cooperated, and we had a great time. AC is weird town – scratch that. Atlantic City is a sad town with such a mix of rich and poor – the casinos with the butt end to the rest of the city and even the boardwalk itself is a mix of seedy and not so seedy.
We stayed at the Chelsea Hotel which with the Borgata is trying to add a touch of class to the town. Good luck. The hotel itself was a breath of fresh air – no casinos, which meant no Philly or New York City trash to contend with.
