Larry King wants to talk about the truth? Give me a break. In my experience, the people who bray the loudest about different minority groups have never even really met or spoken to a member of the group they're complaining about. Can't have real life interaction get in the way of the reverse racism fantasy, right? And even if you honestly had a negative interaction with a black person or an Asian person or anyone else, how could that possibly inform your opinion? By that standard, I should be racist against white people, cause lord knows I've met tons of white assholes. I guess that would make me a self-hater?

Discrimination is wrong. That's the bottomline here. No one deserves that treatment. Every person deserves to be treated like a human being. No group is better than any other: we are all people and we all deserve respect. We need more understanding, more positive energy in the universe. Give up your hate. It is toxic and it will corrode your soul.

I'm still pondering what I really want to say about the upsetting level of misplaced, uncivilized, dehumanizing anger and hate that has been posted in response to Spencer's words. The anonymity of the Internet helps embolden people who otherwise would never speak such vitriol. Anonymous or not, to know what is in their hearts and minds – and to see the cancer held therein – saddens me.

Like the president, I'll strive to remain calm and press on to attempt fighting racism with logic and attempted intelligence instead of with anger. But even if one can avoid being angry, there's no escaping how pitiful and sad such comments are.

Or is that the point? Outragious rhetoric seems to be all the rage these days.

Not to change subjects, but nobody can convince me that a lot of the anti-Obama "socialist" nonsense isn't just pure racism.

These kids, regardless of the money being refunded, were treated inhumanely. I really don’t care if the club got in over their head and couldn’t accommodate them, the issue here is how those kids were made to feel, that they didn’t belong because of their race. They were not trouble makers, they were kids! And they didn’t deserve to hear what they heard out of the mouths of people who are old enough to know better. How the ire of those mothers would have been stirred had their little white kid walked into a black swim club and had heard similar statements.

We aren’t that different, really we aren’t. It’s just that some seem to think they are better than others and seem to think that because of that, they deserve better and others don’t deserve anything at all. Those are the people I feel sad for as they live their lives in fear of anything out of the norm or different. What a sad existence.

If black people were white they wouldn’t want blacks moving in around them either. As it is most black people prefer living around whites rather than living with blacks. What does this say about black communities?

Blacks are always looking to dilute and pollute white areas, so it is more than understandable that these white club members were appalled, outraged and disgusted at this unsightly herd of cattle being allowed into their pool. If only blacks craved segregation as much as white people, what a wonderful country this would be.
