One of my favorite albums of the year is Elbow’s Seldom Seen Kid - it’s currently on Amazon for a bargain $1.99 sale price for the MP3 album.
I check Amazon every day because they have a CD on extreme sale like this daily.
The Seldom Seen Kid (MP3 Album)
Ostensibly A Rubber Door is about anything that's on my mind. Mostly that seems to be about politics, music, sports, and arguing with others about all of the above. I took the name of this blog from a Michael Penn song called Me Around. Check out Michael - he's about the best singer/songwriter there is.

Got it… don’t know how I feel about dude’s voice but I have a feeling I’ll get used to it. Reminds me a little of Franz Ferdinand (sp?). But for 1.99 count me in. Keep us updated on stuff like this. I appreciate it!
PS LOVE New Pornographers - From Blown Speakers (looked at your recently played list)
Actually … liking it more and more even as I write this comment.
Do you like Of Montreal?

Seriously - check out the song Leaders Of the Free World from the Elbow album of the same name. That song and you’ll get why I love them. Asides from Radiohead - I think Elbow is the best brit band around.
Like Of Montreal - really like the song Bunny Ain’t no Kind of Rider. All weird and tripped out. And the New Pornographers are simply awesome.

haha Bunny is my FAVORITE song… there is nothing like putting of montreal on your ipod and listening to it all the way through. I have yet to get sick of that album. I am afraid of their new one… so far what I have heard is a little psycho and not in the good Of Montreal is Psycho way.

Just wanted you to know that I’m starting to really dig the Spoon album.
