That's the sound I made as my head exploded from the mere sight of the words "Bush's Third Term." At this point, I don't care who the Democratic nominee is -- just want there to be ONE so we can get on with this whole working-towards-a-Republican-defeat thing. But sadly, I have to say that I am pretty nervous. I mean, four years ago I never ever in my most bone-chilling nightmares thought that G.W. would be elected to a second term. This verse of Elvis Costello's "Beyond Belief" just came to mind: History repeats the old conceits The glib replies the same defeats Keep your finger on important issues With crocodile tears and a pocketful of tissues Aaaaaaaaaargh! That’s the sound I made as my head exploded from the mere sight of the words “Bush’s Third Term.”
