I don’t agree with Ron Paul’s policies (he’s anti-abortion and pro-gun rights), and I don’t support him, but I like how he’s campaigned. He speaks with conviction and passion, and he says what he believes, not what is politically expedient (if he did, he would be supporting this failure of a war - like the other Republican’s do).
Ostensibly A Rubber Door is about anything that's on my mind. Mostly that seems to be about politics, music, sports, and arguing with others about all of the above. I took the name of this blog from a Michael Penn song called Me Around. Check out Michael - he's about the best singer/songwriter there is.

I have to agree with you on Ron Paul. I am a registered Democrat, but vote for whomever I please. I’ve felt this way since I became aware of his candidacy many moons ago. In fact, if I was a Republican, despite his views on social policy, he’d be the only G.O.P. candidate I could support.
