The hope you seek for humanity is demonstrated by those same humans every day, if you have a different point of view. I have taken to not worrying about others actions and exhibitions of love and compassion. I am really focused on honing my own. They're the only actions I can consistently address. It's much less stressful than trying to change the world, and much more rewarding than hating people... for me, I mean. Really - are you waiting for everyone else to change so you'll be happy? Can you type? You should be happy. Wanna know how many people can't? Can you read? You should be happy. Wanna know how many people cannot? Want me to keep going?
