Greg - get off your high horse. If you want to put your fucking head in the sand, then so be it.

People make great pains at attempting to be unlikeable. It is more important for people like me to call them on it than for people like you who are all "strawberries and cream " and every day is a sunny day.

The world gets better by people recognizing what's wrong with it and doing something about it - not ignoring it.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('18179','Spencer','Greg - get off your high horse.
there is no purpose to life, except the one you bring to it.

You are the hope you seek for humanity.

If love is the end I desire, isn't it the begin?

You have "taken to hating people"??

You care enough about people who don't care to write about them. Then you stop caring and say you are hating people in general now because of a few bad apples...

Life is good if you let it be...

The hope you seek for humanity is demonstrated by those same humans every day, if you have a different point of view.

I have taken to not worrying about others actions and exhibitions of love and compassion. I am really focused on honing my own.

They're the only actions I can consistently address. It's much less stressful than trying to change the world, and much more rewarding than hating people... for me, I mean.

Really - are you waiting for everyone else to change so you'll be happy?

Can you type? You should be happy. Wanna know how many people can't?

Can you read? You should be happy. Wanna know how many people cannot?

Want me to keep going?

Count your blessings, if you are aware of them. They're hard to see when you compare them to others and what they seem to have.

Good luck Spencer. Try turning off the TV for a year. And the radio. Throw the fucking newspaper away every time one gets near you. It's only your world if you decide that it is.

No shit. Really.

Best regards.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('18167','greg allen','there is no purpose to life, except the one you bring to it.\r\n\r\nYou are the hope you seek for humanity.\r\n\r\nIf love is the end I desire, isn\'t it the begin?\r\n\r\nYou have \"taken to hating people\"??\r\n\r\nYou care enough about people who don\'t care to write about them.
I'd like to note that I didn't intend to have an actual yellow smiley face in my preceding comment. Just the approximation with a semi-colon and parenthesis.

And it was supposed to be next to the word "close." (Why does it matter to me? Why does the netting matter to me? Why do birds suddenly appear...oh, off-tangent again, sorry.)

And I also didn't intend to have an extra word ("in") in the second paragraph of my previous comment.

Can you tell I'm avoiding cleaning the house right now?

Thank you and have a lovely weekend.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('17671','Cyn','I\'d like to note that I didn\'t intend to have an actual yellow smiley face in my preceding comment.
First of all, thank you Spencer for featuring my neighborly dispute. It's not quite in the same league as exposing a bunch of people to a resistant dangerous disease, but ya know, it's very close ;)

Yeah, so painfully obvious that Speaker was only thinking of himself. What was he doing flying to Italy in the first place, when he was diagnosed in months ago?

Then I read that his father-in-law works for the CDC specializing in TB...

Denials by Dad (Honest - it's not MY virus!)...but it makes you wonder, no? (Reminds me of some 24 plotline...)
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('17667','Cyn','First of all, thank you Spencer for featuring my neighborly dispute.
