We’re having a yard sale today. A lot of sitting watching people examine our crap and shake their head. A yard sale is like dating, see a lot of people, get a lot of rejection.
Sphere: Related ContentOstensibly A Rubber Door is about anything that's on my mind. Mostly that seems to be about politics, music, sports, and arguing with others about all of the above. I took the name of this blog from a Michael Penn song called Me Around. Check out Michael - he's about the best singer/songwriter there is.

I have a lot of stuff I don’t want, but I never bothered having a yard sale. I hate sitting around and waiting. I figure that I’ll give them to goodwill.

Well we just got back from Goodwill - we did sell $100 worth of crap and our basement is a little less of a disaster.

My mom used to love to have yard sales, but would sell 90% of everything for “50 cents” haha!

That’s good. I wouldn’t have the patience. I just like checking out yard sales and now and then I might see something interesting.

I love garage sales! I love watching other people at garage sales. They get so serious. Kinda entertaining.
