Took a little blogiday but now I’m back and thanks to Katherine Harris for giving me such blog worthy material. Seems like madame Katherine took some time out from her Senate campaign to give her views on the Constitution and specifically the separation of church and state. Apparently church-state separation is “wrong because God is the one who chooses our rulers.”
I agree 100%. What she doesn’t realize is that god apparently has a sense of humor. You know God woke up one morning thinking “How can I fuck with these people? Hmm. Oh yeah - George Bush as President - that’s good!”
What’s so funny about this is that what a moron like Harris doesn’t realize is that the reason this country was formed is to avoid church involvement in the government.
I think I’d be angrier if it weren’t for the fact that Harris seems to have been exposed during the current campaign. It appears she won’t win - and she comes out looking like the bigoted moron that us liberals all know that she is.

Oh that picture is frightening. And I’m not referring to the animal. But yeah, people don’t seem to understand that not all people believe there is a god - or believe in the same god. That’s a pretty good reason for the separation of state and church.

This gets to the root of the problem of deluded and greedy politicians who seek to impose their own ignorance on millions of others. Because of our reliance on money, politics, and religion, we are teetering on the verge of worldwide disaster. Idiots like Ms. Harris couldn’t care less about everyone else as long as they get their hands on wealth and power, even if it means pretending to serve the Creator. It is long past time that people stand up for truth and justice and give these scoundrels their due.

While she speaks for her constituents, those constituents reside in a state that is a part of the United States of America. That means that she has a obligation to uphold the Constitution. Her comments show that she has a lack of basic understanding of that document - so how can she defend it.
The Constitution is what made this country the best country in the world and those that seek to change it should be careful. Evangelists are all about remaking this document to fit their view of the world. The men that wrote the Constitution were smart, god fearing men that knew that the government and church can not be allowed to conspire against the people as it did in England. I don’t have a problem with Harris wishing there wasn’t separation of church and state, but stating that the Constitution doesn’t support that notion just shows that she is simply incorrect.
As for her contributions? Breaking the law, and stealing an election so that a moron can be President is at the top of her resume.
