
Newspapers all over the U.S., especially here in the east, went with the story of the miners surviving the blast. It’s a testament to how difficult a job it is to accurately report the news.
I can not imagine the joy the families felt only to have that joy dashed a mere 3 hours later.
There’s so much pressure to put blame here. This was a horrible accident followed up by a horrible mistake. Everyone was so excited that it got away from them.
My sincerest condolences to these families that have suffered too much over the past 2 days.
