I drive past the White House almost every morning, and I develop something akin to Tourette's when the building comes into view. I remember being so excited when a friend of mine gave me a West Wing tour back in the days of Clinton. Now, the thought of being in that building, with people who I feel hold most of us in great contempt, makes me fairly ill.
